School Information for new families

Sacred Heart is a small rural school in Lanark Ontario.  Each year we have approximately 75-85 students from junior kindergarten to grade 8.  We pride ourselves on knowing each and every child's needs, interests, personality and family.  Our classes are generally small and it is very easy for students to make new friends.  Each of our classes is a split grade which offers students an opportunity to bond with their teacher over a two year period.  Our yard is large and multifaceted, offering plenty of opportunity for play and learning outdoors in the fresh country air.  Our small staff is dedicated, skilled, and professional.  We are connected to Sacred Heart Parish.  Most of our students are bussed to school but we do have some walkers.  We offer core French.  Each child grade 1-8 has access to an iPad or laptop during the school day.
